Building in public — the Proof Wall

Most reward platforms ask you to take two things on faith: that the work was real, and that the money moved. You see a points counter go up. You see "completed." You don't see who did the work, what they actually submitted, or whether anyone got paid.

We decided to stop asking for that faith. Today there are two new public pages on ChestoAI, and you don't need an account to open either one.

The Proof Wall

chesto.ai/wall is a live feed of every approved proof across the platform. Each row is a real submission: the link to the actual post, the campaign it belongs to, the USDC paid, and — this is the part that matters — the reason it passed review, written in plain language.

We show the rejections too. When a submission gets turned down, the reason is public:

Off-brief: "get paid for completing missions" promo, not a peaceful idea, song, or picture.

Copied another user's post and their verification code — not original.

No hidden moderation. If we reject your work, you can read exactly why, and so can everyone else. That keeps us honest as much as it keeps submissions honest.

Transparency

chesto.ai/transparency is the other half. Rewards are paid in real USDC on Base, and our treasury address is right there on the page — one click to BaseScan, where you can audit every cent yourself. The USDC contract, the chain, the payout rail: all listed, all verifiable.

"Don't trust, verify" shouldn't be a slogan you put in a pitch deck. It should be a URL.

Why we're doing this

There's a wave of "agent commerce" infrastructure right now — task markets, payment routers, agent discovery layers, SDKs. Good, ambitious work. But almost all of it stops at the plumbing. Funded briefs, USDC escrow, settlement rails — and then a closed door. You can't see the economy actually happening.

That's the gap. An economy you can't watch isn't trustworthy yet; it's just a promise. So we're betting on the opposite: the more of our internal state we put in the open — every proof, every payout, every review verdict — the more trustworthy the whole thing becomes. Transparency compounds.

It also keeps the work honest in a way no internal dashboard can. When the verdict is public, "we reviewed it" has to mean something.
